Total transparency is paramount so I want to paint the whole picture for you.
Affiliate Links
Sometimes, the links I include on my blog are affiliate links. If you click on affiliate links to make a purchase, I may earn a very small commission, it doesn’t cost you any extra. On the whole, I only include links for things that I believe in and love and I simply want to share the details with you.
Sponsored Posts
Occasionally, I may be paid to produce a blog post or promote something, however, it will always be my own opinion, words and only ever honest.
Gifted Products
Sometimes, I may be gifted an item and asked to provide a review on my blog. I only accept items I believe in and love. My review will always be honest and the products will reflect who I am. I will always let you know and disclose this on the post if an item has been gifted.
Privacy Policy
The following Privacy Policy governs the online information and data collection practices of flawsomeandfifty.com (“me” or “I”). Specifically, it outlines the types of information that I gather about you while you are using the flawsomeandfifty, com website (the “Site”), and the ways in which I use this information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By visiting and using the Site, you agree that your use of my Site, and any dispute over privacy, is governed by this Privacy Policy. Because the Web is a growing and evolving space, I may need to change my Privacy Policy at some point in the future, in which case I’ll post the changes to this Privacy Policy on this website and update the Effective Date of the policy to reflect the date of the changes. I will endeavour to notify with 30 days’ notice of any changes made and the effective date. By continuing to use the Site after I post any such changes, you accept the Privacy Policy as modified.
I will never sell, barter, or rent your email address to any unauthorised third party.
How I collect and use information
This Site only contacts individuals who specifically request that I do so or in the event that they have signed up to receive my free email communications. Generally, this information includes name and e-mail address for registration to receive our free newsletters and email updates. All of this information is provided to me by you.
I also collect and store information that is generated automatically as you navigate online through the Site. For example, I may collect information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, which allows me, among other things, to improve the delivery of my web pages to you and to measure traffic on the Site. I also may use a standard feature found in browser software called a “cookie” to enhance your experience with the Site. Cookies are small files that your web browser places on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. By showing how and when visitors use the Site, cookies help me deliver advertisements, identify how many unique users visit my site, and track user trends and patterns. They also prevent you from having to re-enter your preferences on certain areas of the Site where you may have entered preference information before. The Site also may use web beacons (single-pixel graphic files also known as “transparent GIFs”) to access cookies and to count users who visit the Site or open HTML-formatted email messages. Details of how to disable cookies on your own web browser can be found in my Cookies Policy (see below).
The information that you give to me directly on the site (e.g. within comments on blog posts such as your name and email address) is never shared or added to any mailing lists.
To ensure the security and safety of this site, I create monthly backups of all information on this site, which are held in a zip file within my own email server. Each backup file is deleted in full when the next one is created.
The Site also includes links to websites I recommend or work with on a collaborative basis and provides access to products and services offered by third parties, whose privacy policies I do not control. Some of the links I provide are “affiliate links.” This means if you click on the link and purchase the item connected to that link, I will receive an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. When you access another website or purchase third-party products or services through the Site, use of any information you provide is governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site you are visiting, or the provider of such products or services.
Be aware that I may occasionally release information about our visitors when release is appropriate to comply with law or to protect the rights, property or safety of users of the Site or the public.
Please also note that as my business grows, I may buy or sell various assets. In the unlikely event that I sell some or all of my assets, or my website is acquired by another company, information about my users may be among the transferred assets.
How do I store your Information as a Subscriber?
Your information is stored at the list server that delivers this Site’s emails (https://MailChimp.com). Your information can only be accessed by those who help manage those lists in order to deliver email to those who would like to receive this Site’s newsletters and email updates. I take steps to ensure that any associated workers I use to help me complete tasks are GDPR knowledgeable and compliant in their practices.
All of the newsletters or emails that are sent to you by this Site include an unsubscribe link in them. You can remove yourself at any time from our newsletters or mailing list by clicking on the unsubscribe link that can be found in every communication that I send you.
Disclaimer
Although it is highly unlikely, this policy may be changed at any time at our discretion. If I should update this policy, I will post the updates to this page on our Website. In the event of a security breach on this Website, I will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. In the event of a security breach on any third-party server which I use to store your information (such as https://mailchimp.com) I will notify you as soon as I can reasonably do so, and I have been notified by the third party. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy policy, please feel free to email me at flawsomeandfity@gmail.com.
Cookie Policy
This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping baskets, and provide anonymised (that means anonymous, so it doesn’t track your name or email address, for example, but it does track your IP address which uniquely identifies the network you are connected to) tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a site which allows me to see how well my website is performing in terms of audience. It tells me things like how many people have visited my site, how many of those people are coming back, and where they are in the world. All of this information helps me to continue to create content that is relevant to the people reading it (you!)
As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser.

The settings will open in a new window. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Advanced’. In the ‘privacy and security’ section, find the option for ‘content settings’. Here you can turn on or off several features. Cookies are usually the first option.
To disable cookies in Internet Explorer, click the 3 dots at the top right of the screen (just under the close screen ‘x’). This will open a sidebar menu where you should choose ‘settings’. Click ‘view advanced settings’ and scroll down to the ‘privacy and services’ section. Within that section you can choose to block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or don’t block cookies.
